Nokia has just released the new N97 phone, the latest business phone from Scandinavian behemoth. First impression is that Nokia finally got it right with the touch screen, and there are so many options and features available with the handset, that it's now almost a mobile PC.

Among other features, Nokia maps application got an upgrade, which now makes it more useful - me, for instance, I love using the GPS feature when in a big city like New York.

Location based mobile marketing is said to be the next big field of exploration in advertising. It's been that way for at least five years now, but it seems people are finally using their phones for GPS functionalities so maybe the time is now.
